Gabriela graduated from the First Faculty of Medicine of Charles University in 1992. Since 2007, she has worked as a psychiatrist at the Magdaléna organization, ops, and from 2017–2026 at the Addiction Center Prague.
She primarily focused on psychiatric practice with a focus on addiction, management of after-treatment and substitution programs, psychotherapeutic work with patients and their families, and management of group therapy.
From 2018 to 2022, she worked as a psychiatrist in the medium-term treatment department at the Psychiatric Hospital in Havlíčkův Brod. In 2016 and 2020, she completed training in integrative psychotherapy.
In his work, he builds on a close therapeutic relationship with the client and always chooses an individually "tailored" approach. He combines psychotherapy with pharmacotherapy with the aim of achieving the client's psychological stability as a basis for further work on the personality, leading to the building of healthy self-confidence and deeper self-knowledge. He also supports the involvement of the client's family in the treatment.
He is interested in new procedures in the treatment of mental disorders, such as ADHD in adults, and modern approaches in substitution treatment of addictions.
