"I am based on psychodynamic psychotherapy, but I do not limit myself directly to it. Work with meaning and motivation and an existential direction are also important to me. I try to look at the problem of addiction on a broader scale - I believe that it does not arise by itself, but certain reasons lead a person to problems with addictive substances or processes. So it is not something that can be "fixed", magically changed and continue on the same path. I consider the experience of addiction or another problematic habit to be a challenge - often a life-threatening one. It is a call to understand and change yourself, your relationships (including to yourself), values and other aspects of functioning in your own life. To grapple with this challenge is to give yourself a chance for a healthier, deeper and richer life."
In the words of a quote: "Although no one can go back and start over, anyone can start today and give their story a new ending" (C. Bard).
