Loss of concentration and attention deficit disorder
The inability to concentrate can have many causes. Biological factors include exhaustion, lack of sleep or nutrients, hormonal fluctuations or congenital attention disorders (such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Psychological influences also play a role - long-term stress, anxiety, depression or unresolved psychological trauma can weaken our ability to focus our minds in one direction. Social and environmental factors are also important today: we live in an environment full of distractions (constant notifications, multitasking, pressure to perform) that overload our attention. If, in addition, there is a lack of clear meaning or internal motivation to act, the spiritual dimension of the problem manifests itself as a feeling of emptiness or aimlessness, which further undermines concentration.
The result of these influences can be that the person in question runs from one thing to another, does not complete tasks, forgets important information and his productivity and self-confidence decrease. Psychological discomfort is often added – irritability, inner restlessness or a feeling of failure. It can be difficult to recognize whether it is “just” the result of a stressful period or a symptom of a deeper problem (e.g. clinical attention disorders). In any case, you are not lazy or incompetent – your brain is simply reacting to the conditions it is exposed to. The good news is that concentration can be gradually trained and restored if a person finds the causes of their difficulties and appropriate support.

How NEO Center helps
At NEO Center, we look at difficulties from the bio-psycho-socio-spiritual model of the human being. Our therapeutic work focuses on multiple levels:
Individual approach
Each client goes through an initial meeting where we identify possible causes of loss of concentration. The therapist will create an individual care plan tailored to your needs - whether it's techniques to strengthen attention, stress management, or possibly consulting with doctors if ADHD or other health factors are suspected.
Safe environment
Therapy takes place in an empathetic and confidential environment, where you don't have to worry about being misunderstood or judged. You can talk openly about your difficulties, fatigue or concerns. We build a supportive relationship between client and therapist, which is the basis for successful cooperation and gradual improvement.
Working with the body and emotions
In addition to conversations, we use techniques that connect the mind and body. Practicing relaxation exercises, breathing exercises, or light physical activities help release tension and improve the ability to calm down. This creates space for deeper emotional processing - often, absent-mindedness is caused by suppressed emotions or overload that needs to be released.

Residential treatment
If your concentration problems are associated with severe exhaustion or other difficulties, you can take advantage of residential treatment. In the peaceful environment of our residential clinic, you can temporarily detach yourself from the daily hustle and bustle and work more intensively on restoring balance - with the support of therapists throughout. In addition to psychotherapy, the stay also includes regimen measures for a healthy lifestyle, including rest, appropriate exercise and relaxation as a complement to treatment.
03
You are not alone.
A change to better concentration is possible – but it is not a quick leap, but a gradual process. At NEO Center, we respect the pace of each client. Step by step, we will help you regain your lost concentration and gain the confidence to pay attention to what is important to you.
